Elon Musk’s electric car builder has filed an application to trademark the “Model E” name for potential use on future automobiles, clothing, and repair service. Tesla now sells an electric sedan named the Model S and in 2014, it will debut the Model X crossover. Musk’s branding strategy follows the Model T, which became the first vehicle that middle-class Americans could afford when Ford introduced it in 1908.

Sirius XM Radio Inc. (NASDAQ:SIRI): Current price $3.67
On Thursday, Sirius said that Metallica will perform at Harlem’s famous Apollo Theater for the first time in a special invitation-only concert for SiriusXM subscribers on September 21 at 8:30 pm Eastern Time.
Metallica will perform songs from their career of over 30 years and the concert will be broadcast live nationwide on the band’s limited-run SiriusXM channel, Mandatory Metallica, only days prior to the release of the band’s upcoming 3D feature film Metallica Through The Never, which will be released exclusively in IMAX theaters in North America on September 27 and widely on October 4.

eBay Inc. (NASDAQ:EBAY): Current price $51.08
The provider of Internet postage services, Stamps.com, has launched a new United States Postal Services shipping integration with a division of eBay. Stamps.com is providing its services to eBay’s ProStores, a company that provides e-commerce services to small businesses. ProStores assists consumers and businesses in better managing sales on their own websites as well as on eBay’s marketplace site.
